My Nonna used to say while stirring the sauce: “Piano, piano, si va lontano”. She said it with love and a wooden spoon in her hand. The kind of love that leaves a mark on your heart. Or forehead. Depends on the day. That woman had so much love and passion for discipline at the same time. "Elegant violence" you might say. But not to waste any more of your time... here's my point: just take it slow and you'll get there. And hey, who's to say you can’t do it with a little help of some slappin'... beats? So take my advice - hit play. Turn it up, and remember: even when you're tired and things get hairy and tough, you press on and you don’t stop. Otherwise, I’ll have to take out my Nonna’s stick — and trust me, it won’t be just the beats doin' the slappin’. It’ll be old-school tomato-sauce red spankin' justice. You’ll feel it in your bones AND you’ll thank me later. Because this ain’t just about the sauce. It’s about rhythm. Discipline. Pleasure. Pain. Patience. Power. Knowing when to stir…and when to shut up. Capisce?
