icon Coming weekend: Switch at Paradiso Amsterdam Posted by ginman on 12-08-2010-17:49

The festival season is in full progress: every weekend is filled with at least two or three festivals where Dutch ravers can go after pounding techno beats. To keep intimate club vibes alive during the summer, Switch Music Events organises another Switch party in the historical Paradiso. With festivals like Wooferland, Gaasper Pleasure and Loveland Festival on the same date, Switch is the perfect conclusion of the day.

English techno grandmasters Mark Broom and James Ruskin, alongside Folker Zwart, Jeff Rushin and Staas will tear the roof of the first area. The small room and basement are filled with high quality acid and techno from Eindhoven and Germany.
Not only the ears are spoiled at Switch, visually the organisition will go out all the way as well. With an enormous projection platform for the scene’s finest VJ’s and a spectacular lasershow to finish it all off, Switch has all the ingredients for a tremendous night in one of Amsterdams most beautiful locations.

icon SonneMondSterne 2010 Posted by Jebba on 01-08-2010-12:15

Upcoming weekend it is that time of the year again: thousands of party people from Germany and the rest of the world will travel to an idyllic lake side in East-Germany to have a hell of weekend!
Bleilochtalsperre is arguably the best location for a festival of this size. The waterside, the village with its friendly people, the quiet camping or the loud, and of course a very nicely layed out festival terrain. Furthermore, the camping site is open long after the party closes, so you can have a good rest before going home again.

SonneMondSterne will be held for the 14th time this year and we can trust them for making our long travel worthwhile.
Sold out for the second time in advance now, you can be sure that the atmosphere will be good with people who really want to be there again. Weather or no weather, we've seen it all and it really doesn't matter. The party rocks every time!

The headliners are all good of course, but we're really curious about what Muna and the Brandburg Allstars for example are feeding us.
The LiveSets crew is on the lookout for the lesser known artists that come mostly from the region. In the past we discovered Cannibal Cooking Club, Hanson, Schrempf, Kratzer and lots of other hard and fresh sounds from the east. There are also some very nice known and less known minimal artists to be found there.

We can't wait to go there again and see our friends from Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands!
