does anyone know how to use a VST in Ableton, if it's possible??

it's really easy, check your options --> plugin directory (where your vsts are)
then open that folder with a kind of square as an icon and drag and drop the vsti you want in a midi channel of the main window.

thnx i feel dumb fornot knowing
just had my standard folder set wrong
still don't have a clue how to implement a drumVST and make patterns

Once you have your VST on a track switch to arrangment view, select a chuck of time on that same track right click it and select insert midi. Once you have a color midi block double click it and you'll see the sequencer on the bottom section to draw your notes. Hope that helps.
