A while ago, I started a new board. It's mainly aimed towards producers, amateurs or pro's.
I, and others, post links to on-line samples & (free) plug-ins. Besides that, there is a software discussion, hardware discussion, market place, spam area for your tracks/records/parties, ...
There's also a special downloads section, but you'll have to earn your access to that. Then you'll find out what lies beyond.
click the banner
or enter the url: http://x-sample.tk
thanks to artbreaker for tha logo!

does anyone know how to use a VST in Ableton, if it's possible??
or only through Rewire??
it's really easy, check your options --> plugin directory (where your vsts are)
then open that folder with a kind of square as an icon and drag and drop the vsti you want in a midi channel of the main window.

thnx i feel dumb fornot knowing
just had my standard folder set wrong
still don't have a clue how to implement a drumVST and make patterns
Once you have your VST on a track switch to arrangment view, select a chuck of time on that same track right click it and select insert midi. Once you have a color midi block double click it and you'll see the sequencer on the bottom section to draw your notes. Hope that helps.
