Ok, so shortly i'll be splashing out and buying myself a new mixer, the model i have been looking at is the allen & heath xone 42, but iv'e never actually used this mixer in my life and unfortunately there is not any dj stores in my city that stock this model for me to give it a test out before purchase, so i'm looking for some advice from anyone on here that has this model or could recommend something else.
I'm not really bothered about fx and other bells and whistles as i'll be using traktor, i basically just need a solid well built 4 channel mixer that will pump out a good sound and last the test of time.
My budget is £630.

Thanks for the feedback mate, i had a look into buying the the xone 22 but the 1 thing that put me off buying the the xone 22 was the lack of a booth monitor, i feel it's spmething i really need on a mixer due to the low recording output when using traktor scratch pro 2, the booth monitor just makes thing's so much easier when monitoring the output of the recording's in traktor. I'm really stretched on my budget already so spending anymore to buy a mixer that little more expensive really is not an option, (the wife's already showing her displeasure at spending so much)
I think i'm just going to go ahead and order the xone 42 as it seems the best buy for the money i have available.
@ jisk, cheers for the video m8 that mixer look's awesome.
