I don't like schranz that much, it isn't really funky/jazzy like some detroitproductions.

but everybody deserves his own favo. style

oh, ok. schranz or whatever is a new term over here in the US. i have heard of it, but never knew what it was until now. now that i know i totally know what it is. i have some andreas kremer records back from when i thought that the harder techno was the better. listening to them now, they just sound trite and unintelligent, but at the time, i thought it was kick ass. needless to say, i havent bought any of those types of records in a while.

i wouldnt say that i hate schranz. now, an entire set of schranz....that is what i would call monotonous. i downloaded a set by andreas kremer, and it all sounded the same. i got tired of it after three tracks. i think in the right set, it might be good to throw in one or two, but anything more than that is just excessive and insipid.

also, i wouldnt say that chris leibing is schranz. he plays too much electro to get branded with the schranz label.

just my two cents.

Poor Kike, it's not coz you are from 76 that your getting old, i think just the same way, ok when i was younger i did listen to that "music" for a year or so but now i get shivers over my hole body if i hear that word , and i go banana's when i hear people calling techno or hard techno "stupid Hardcore shit", at that point my self control slipps thru my fingers and my "hands start to itch" but hey, let those peeps amuse theirselves , if they think it good, lets be "happy for them" and that we don't have to listen to that music, just keep on :thumbs:/>

schranz is not really my kind of music it's a little bit to fast for me, I discripe it as the terror of the techno. I can't listen to it all night long, only for an our if I am in the mood

hard techno does not = schranz

schranz is techno with distorded sounds ...or how it was called.

liebing also wrote a statement about schranz. i cant find it at the moment. if i remember right, he said "u can call it whatever you want" or something...
