[Steve Forte Rio]

I was wondering if the Radio plays classic live sets from like 1999 through 2004 because I hardly hear any, all that is really played is the current newer sets.

I tune in every now and then... older sets are streamed sometimes..

I have a pretty big archive of oldies and listen to them in waves. Sometimes I'm totally into early 00's sets and sometimes more into the 90's or 80's. Depends on the mood ;)/>
I highly doubt we can please everyone with old recordings, although it would be cool to have some back to the XX nights or so. I think you should ask Botje or Ginman about this.

Good question Steve. I'll see what I can do for you. It might take me some time though, because due to server space issues we had to remove most of our old sets.

and if possible more trance plays pls cause all i ever hear on the radio is house and minimal, i havent heard one trance set yet

Sorry, but that won't happen. On the radio we concentrate on all techno based genres. Trance doesn't fit in that profile.

in a similar vein, what about a section for Classic and old skool mixes?
I've seen some good old school sets posted ie pre 1999, but they tend to get lost in with the newer mixes.

Well, that was actually a lot of work to organize. And unfortunately I have to do it all by myself and my free time is already pretty scarce.

We did have some cool tribute shows in the past, but I'm afraid at the moment, these won't come back.

This topic already made me think about that option. I'll discuss it with my fellow crew members.

Darkon (or somebody else) if you want to organize a classic set tribute (or a tribute with another topic) that would be awesome! If somebody else wants to, contact one of the mods. And we'll arrange something.

Maybe we can share the complete special afterwards on bittorrent or other filesharing sites.
