Got this Idea from another Board, which has not so many active Users like LS.com.
The Idea is that all Member DJs who will join the Match send a 60 Minutes Mix anonymously and at the End of quite a Month or so, the Vote Phase will start for another Month. And @ the End we will have a Winner. That`s only a suggestion, but what are the other Opinions of u Guys??

if this is a competition to actually test raw talent of real mixing, engineering, and programming then lets do this. i wont say who i am but to get everyone's attention i will say that it is true that about 90% of "djs" DONT know what to actually do with the music they have. most rely on what they have learned in production and they end up either mashing tracks or doin a complete unnecessary rework of their whole set (u see it all the time in mix competitions). and then u have those that think live djing is the only way to dj with manipulating the fuck out the track with the eq or even worse masking it with filters and efx (breaks and rap is the exception to this of course)...this may have worked for u loud and live but hopefully nobody recorded it for playback on their ipod or in their car. i understand that what im saying is very controversial to you but one of the main reasons why tracks and production has become so much more bigger in popularity is becuz in reality most dj sets arent honestly that good or intelligently constructed and programmed, letting down the quality of production that were put into the tracks.
true mixing and set building takes skill and is an art. there are only a handful of djs known and unknown that shown tru ability and their outcome are masterpieces.

so right about now, most of you are shaking ur head, thinking im a real asshole and desperately trying to keep a tight grip on the belief system you have bought into about djing. dont worry ur not alone, alot of that 90% are djs that have made a name for themselves.

also, if ur thinking, im saying all this and at the same time obviously implying im not of that 90%, u would b correct. like i said i will keep my real name anonymous but if u have any questions or would love me to "put my money where my mouth is" than visit my new bandpage.

or listen to my latest podcast here: Listen on Soundcloud.com

remember while u listen to anyone of my sets, completely let go and believe trust the set. dont worry u will after the very first mix of the set.

i have respect for you all but i dont have respect for bad sets or music. lets all make better sets.

Nope and for a DJ-Match this it`s to little activity on such a big Board.
Maybe we start something like a Soundcloud Group and the Set with the most Favorites wins....
